Locks of Love

We have a neighbor and some good friends whose kids have recently been diagnosed with leukemia. Of her own accord, Beth wanted to cut her hair and donate it to Locks of Love, an organization that provides hairpieces to kids with medically-related hair loss from chemotherapy, etc. We're so proud of our big girl!

'Tis the season for all sorts of Christmasy shenanigans. In the midst of two school Christmas productions (that's Beth dressed up as Mary), we found time to sneak a peek at a gingerbread village (though as you can see in the pictures, the kiddos were just as interested in a nearby water fountain.)
