This is Jonas, an indigenous pastor in the village of Limao Verde near the Pantanal region of Brazil. His grandfather was beaten and threatened with death when he refused to renounce Jesus. His faithfulness to the gospel has impacted generations of Terena tribal people. Like his grandfather, Pastor Jonas has a steadfast commitment to reach the Terena with the joy and hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It was awesome to film his story with @openarmsww and @dave.gedney.

Today, under a giant mango tree, we met with village elders of the Terena tribe in Lagoinha. They expressed their gratitude to @openarmsww for their Christ-centered care of the children there. They are excited about a blossoming partnership with @colin_seager and the brothers at Derwood Bible Church. The tribe recently celebrated 100 years since the gospel of Jesus was brought to them. #openarms #brasil #pantanal
